Hope. It is a virtue that we all have to some degree or another. Certain people, places, or things lift our hopes while others diminish our hopes. There are false hopes and there are true hopes. God sprinkles our world with special people, special places and special things to raise our hopes. Here is one of those sprinkles that shines hope for the future - Louisiana State Representative Katrina Jackson - A Christian, An African American, A Woman and A Pro-Lifer. God bless her, may her star shine brightly.

That’s great, and our country needs more leaders willing to speak up for life as she does.

An interesting photo. One lone Black woman surrounded by eight or nine White men.
I have never heard of Katrina Jackson.

AOC, of course, being a “star” only in her own mind and in her Twitterverse of followers.

I wanted people to see that good Christians Democrats do exist still and we should bring their stories to the forefront. And people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shouldn’t even be given a mention (positive or negative) on this platform because she doesn’t seem to portray the ideals of a good Christian or a good Democrat (just a gut feeling but I’m sure someone’s going to make me regret I said this). So why give people the chance to puff up her name and personality more than what it is.
We Democrats, if we don’t like the way our party is going, we need to let those at the top know who we like representing us. Ms Katrina Jackson has good potential; hopefully, she’ll continue to push forward faithfully.
