Our Cardinals go into conclave on 18th. April. We are facing a new era in our history. We face a world troubled and threated by terrorism. Major natural disasters and also overwhelming poverty in many countries. Injustice and shocking violence in many places.
We face spiritual and religious questions. There are other factors too I’m sure will come to others’ minds. We also face a world where cyberspace through the use and availability of computers in so very many homes etc. all over the world. This is creating a cyber-community as it were as this Board does reflect.
Our new Pope, when elected, will almost have to deal with factors that are so new, there will be no previous working reference for him to refer to as he and his advisors ponder the Will of God for The People of God as indiviuals and in community - The Community of The Communion of Saints …
I plan to pray The Rosary daily and to also say this Prayer for The Election of The Pope prior to the Rosary.
Also St. John Vianney is the Patron Saint of our Priests …

Prayer for Election of Pope…………I did try to copy this prayer to put into this post, but there were elaborate graphics involved and I know very little about computers. But if you go to the website the prayer is there, along with quite a bit of information re Papacy, Election of Pope, Conclaves etc. on one website.
