Hi, everyone. I’m new here, I didn’t see an introduce yourself thread any where so here goes.

I’m 39 years old Male From the United States. I was born into the Catholic Faith, I’ve been a practicing Catholic off and on over the years. I feel at this time in my life it is time to come back again so here I am. I hope these forums are active as I do not like social media specifically Facebook. Maybe it’s my age but I don’t like social media at all. Any ways looking forward to making some friends here.

CAF is very active, and there are a wide range of personalities here, with people visiting/or are members from all over the world.

I would suggest you take the discobot tutorials - I assume you received an email from him titled Greetings - they can be helpful to some new users. Not knowing if you’ve experience with other forums, but CAF is based on discourse, so you might find reading this Understanding Discourse Trust Levels | Blog … … helpful.

Also it’s a good idea to familiarize yourself (if you haven’t already) with the forum rules.

Do you mean that people who like social media tend to be older than you or younger than you? I have nothing to do with Facebook or Twitter myself, but I know many people who do, and I never noticed that they belong to any particular age group.

By my age, I just meant I feel like an old soul who is not hip to certain newer things such as Facebook.
 
Welcome to CAF FJRQZ.I don’t do Facebook etc either .Catholic Answers and emailing are enough for me .
