to Mod: after considering, I think this thread belongs here because it’s about evangelisation/ministry. 
I hope I am right.
Hi all,
I’ve been interested in apologetic. Recently, I met a friend who can debate/preach. So 2 of us + another friends decided to start a “cell group/bible studies.” Well, it’s actually a bible studies with a twist, where instead of using it to personal level (how this verses applicable to my life), we’ll try to understand the scripture and to equip the young adults with apologetic knowledge. After all, Catholic Church is Biblical, right, right, right?
I’m very excited about it because it’ll be the first here as most young adults are mainly interested in Charismatic prayer group and normal bible studies. There are another apologetic ministry but they concentrate mainly on moral issues and seldom use Scripture.
On our first meeting, we had difficulty in getting a name for the ministry, any suggestion?

Besides that, do you have any suggestion for the sessions? **Sometimes, I could be too theological so it might be quite boring to the young adults (btw, I’m 22!
). My idea is to have a topic/theme for each session, such as Mary, Papacy, Reconciliation, Eucharist, etc. So we’ll discuss the verses that support them. Besides that, we might have CCC/Church documents, but I don’t know whether it will be too heavy for them.
I’ve been reading books by Scott Hahn, Patrick Madrid (his apologetic books are
), I’ll listen more to CA Radio podcast. John’s Martignoni stuff also. **Any other recommendation? **
Prayer is appreciated as there are so many things to do and I just got email from the parish priest that he also wants to have youth council. I think it’s just the right timing.
