Kind of like building a giant golden calf and then worshipping it, huh? 😉
 
Three thousand years ago men would carve images out of wood and worship the images. Today someone carves an image out of pixels and worships it.
The wooden image could neither move nor speak. The image of pixels can imitate motion and parrot provided lines.
