I have heard in several places the Dominicans have done a new revision of The Jerusalem/New Jerusalem Bible. Does anyone have any info? Does anyone know if a new Jerusalem Bible in English is in the works?
 
A new version is in the works but it just started so it will be several years before we see a result.

I love the Jerusalem Bible translation.
 
My late beloved mother (may she rest in peace) gave me a beautiful copy of the original (1960-something) Jerusalem Bible, & it is excellent.
I just hope that any new version will abandon the politically-correct nonsense that, IMHO, mars the revision in the NJV!!
