I have a friend who is very contemporary in his “World View”
and believes in New Age and even Neo-Nazi-ism He gave me
a bible which is called Restoration Translation, in it is a pictorial
overview of the New World Order.
My question is, how does the Church respond to the idea of a
New World Order?

It’s a secular topic for secular discussion.

People in this vein tend to be conspiracy theorists and I recommend avoiding them.

Peace.

The NWO is just a conspiracy theory and I don’t think the Church has any officialized position on it.

It’s believed in by some new age occultists.

I recommend using a bible translation approved for study.

New Age embraces pantheism which is contrary to monotheism of Christianity.

The Communion of Saints is helping this world to change.

Catechism of the Catholic Church
948 The term “communion of saints” therefore has two closely linked meanings: communion in holy things ( sancta )" and “among holy persons ( sancti ).”
Sancta sanctis! (“God’s holy gifts for God’s holy people”) is proclaimed by the celebrant in most Eastern liturgies during the elevation of the holy Gifts before the distribution of communion. The faithful ( sancti ) are fed by Christ’s holy body and blood ( sancta ) to grow in the communion of the Holy Spirit ( koinonia ) and to communicate it to the world.

The final trial is taught in the Catechism:
675 Before Christ’s second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers.573 The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth574 will unveil the “mystery of iniquity” in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. the supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.575

Certainly, and that trial has been going on since Jesus Christ told of it, while sitting on mount Olivet.

Matthew 24
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall put you to death: and you shall be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be scandalized: and shall betray one another: and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall seduce many.
12 And because iniquity hath abounded, the charity of many shall grow cold.

It’s both. The mystery of iniquity and the trial of the Church is already working, and also the specific final trial will be revealed through the rebellion led by Antichrist or “the son of perdition”, a specific person that will be revealed later.
3 Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of perdition, — — 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed. — — (2 Thess 2)

To those saying it is a conspiracy theory, let me introduce you to George W. Bush. He only talked about the implementation of the New World Order publicly and frequently. Due to him and others, it isn’t a conspiracy theory. This is why I don’t take people seriously who claim that it is. The idea is out there in the public sphere and we had a POTUS who advocated openly for it.

Here are a few clips of him doing just that:

The Church believes this chain of thought is very evil.

A new world order is an excellent idea. trouble is, which bits should be new and how should we order them? I have a few ideas but have yet to recruit sufficient co-conspirators. People are troublesome in having such different ideas.

The NeoNazism is very concerning. The level of hate expressed and sometimes acted upon is one of the most diametrically opposed things to the teachings of Jesus you could find.

This Song written by John Lennon
is one that speaks of this new World order:
IMAGINE
google it yourself but LIsten to the Words
of this Voice of prophesy!!

I didn’t read the “Restoration Bible” but I DO believe in the
New American Standard edition.
@phiI19034
I don’t subscribe to the New World Order, it is Satan’s
time of reign under his “seed” the Beast, the Man of
Lawlessness.

Actually the True New World Order is the
Kingdom of God that Jesus preached!!
“Repent and believe the Gospel, (the Kingdom
of God is near!)” Mark 1:15
Ah, I gottcha! What IS John Lennon talking
about in his song IMAGINE… Heaven, the Kingdom
of Light, where we’re as ONE in praises to the KING
of Kings!!

In the song “Imagine” there is an imagination of man with no God. This imagination has been among men since the earliest days, made obvious in the Tower of Babel (Gen 11:1-9). But recent versions include dictatorial communism, fascist nazism, anarchism - all of them bloody disasters. Modern socialism is merely a step away from communism, although they deny it.

Lennon’s song lyrics includes a dream of “no religion”, “no heaven”, “no hell”, “no countries”, … - just “a brotherhood of man” living in peace. I “imagine” that Satan would be very approving of the song, which recognizes no God, no absolute right or wrong, only people living the dream. It has been tried, and it is a nightmare. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

George W. Bush used it as a phrase to describe the rearrangement of geopolitics after the Cold War. The people who use it in the conspiracy theory sense are using it to encompass a bunch of crazy stuff involving pedophiles in pizza joints and Illuminati lizard people. Apples and oranges.

Thanx for ur replies, I have been and still am a “Christian” all my life and do not subscribe to non-Christian teachings , however recently God has seen fit to introduce me to novel ideas like NEW WORLD ORDER in order to strengthen my faith from another perspective. I am actually playing “the devil’s advocate”!!
