In bringing children into this world we as parents have been given this wonderful gift of procreation thereby helping God to bring new souls to populate this world to the greater Glory of his Kingdom.
With this great privilege comes an equal and greater responsibility of giving these fledging souls a duty of care and overwhelming Love which will embolden them and carry them on to adulthood with Spiritual fervor and conviction of a God who is all Love and Mercy.
So it is that we must take all care and endeavour, at every turn, to instill in our children the correct course of Love and the Divine Grace which crowns all that we do in God’s name.
It has been said that young children are like angel because “ their remembrance of Heaven is still fresh.”- (Jesus Christ) …and so it is our holy mission as parents that we continue to engage our children in this holy pilgrimage to bring God’s Kingdom, to this sad world, so that we can make it a better place, by us being in it.
Our conduct, in their growing world, full of quiet and tranquil expectations of all that will be good and holy, must therefore be exemplary and often heroic as we battle the world’s embrace of a will often contrary to our Divine Father’s Love. Our children’s innocence and limpid souls calls us to be like them, to remain like them, if we are to conquer Heaven.
Our Lord implores us to be like this.
So it is… that we should remain true to this our holy duty, as parents, to forge into the hearts of our children the constancy of Love and Responsibility that comes from acknowledging the Divine Love and Mercy coming from our true source of Life: God Our Father who is All seeing and who calls us to arms against all the instigations from the Evil One!
