Yes, and public opinion has been manipulated for some time now. The pediatrician writes from a clinical perspective about her own profession being manipulated by transgender theory, but the real effort has gone into indoctrinating children themselves, through the educational system. In the literature, it’s referred to as “perception management.” How we perceive our world, ourselves and others. Kids are the perfect indoctrination point. They can be manipulated because the authority figure, their teacher, has a captive audience. Keep this in mind: Reading, writing and arithmetic are needed. Propaganda is not and should automatically be excluded. Once they’re old enough, they can read about sociology.

The current Gender Confusion Campaign is an indoctrination effort as well.

Talk to your kids about what they hear in school. Ask them about girls and boys. You can include more specific questions that are simple: Did your teacher ever talk about two men or two women getting married? Talk to them. Watch what they watch. Read what they read. And be aware, none of this happens by itself. These are not isolated incidents.

No, its not just teaching them that gay people exist and they should be accepted like anyone else, its teaching them at a young age that gay relationships, marriages are OK too.

I do give them credit though, they are doing an absolutely great job, Our city had a large pride festival recently, 100s of 1000s of people attended, The largest catholic diocese in the area was totally silent about the whole thing, not a word about it was ever mentioned in mass.

I think the error can be traced to the absence of Catholic teaching in the unit family, and in the Catholic teaching establishments. Questions of this nature was originally handled by parents. In the early sixties mention of this problem was usually attributed to medical conditions, and that was the correct position. People were genuinely sympathetic and it was not an opportunity for ridicule. It was something that needed to be fixed, and nothing was for cosmetics. We also had the true statistics of cases of this nature.

I think that it is highly unlikely that the sudden explosion in cases just happens to come at the same time in this age of freedom from religion, as if it were a polio epidemic seeking the relief of a vaccine. This new liberation ‘of the scalpel’ now provides the professionals with abundant cases where at one time they were isolated cases painstakingly sought. The prevalence of people desiring the ‘knife’ are everywhere. It is understood how tempting this would be to professionals to jump on the experience/profit bandwagon.

The issue is larger, the transgender effort is a deliberate intent to dehumanize for the express purpose of making unethical experiments on human and human embryos accepted science. There is a clear trail in the eugenics movement that is soon approaching a centennial of abuse and violence against the most susceptible persons, or who they label as the weakest. The philosophies of the 1930s are presented as if they offered something new. That people buy into it is a problem of materialism, the no-god religion. Atheism is the no-god religion spoken of in the wisdom books, clearly another not so novel concept.

Social science has fooled itself into believing it has developed The Copernican Theory of the human person. A monsterous, literally non-human, form of degenerate humanism; a perversion even of the amoral, secular humanism prevalent in the 1920s. These are nearly one hundred year old philosophies that were proven false and led to horrific tragedies, but change your histories to explain everything as based on confused sexuality theories and let history repeat itself.

Christ centered thought and recognition that the human person is a creature formed in the likeness and image of Our Father, God, who loves us is the only answer to this onslaught. He became man and died for us conquering sin and death and raising us to eternal life. The statistical masquerade of social science pretending to conquer cognition and the rational human animal is the problem. Once God is unrecognized the creature is also unrecognized.

As psychopathic behavior is more common than originally understood then what can social science offer except to consider this a normal condition? Let’s then make murder legal because the psychological statistics show it as only natural to the human condition. What else can this relevant, morals as the statistical norm approach to a world view prescribe? That isn’t two aspirin but social science reveals it as the ethical norm, so get with it.

My experience isn’t a refutation of the link. I have indeed seen an upswelling in the past years in the interest of sex changes simply for the desire to experiment,experience change or simply for the novelty, rather than to correct accidents of nature.

The readers need but look at the tabloids and ET TV to see for themselves an unnatural interest in these medical procedures, even in one case where the person lost interest in his new state, and now desires to revert back to his original state. The procedures are beginning to rank with tattoos,body rubs and botox operations, and are an insult to God who gifted to the medical community the knowledge so that we can make normal the statistically few cases who desire these operations.

The same thing was going on with myspace 10 years ago. Every other person it seemed (antecodetal estimate ) was bi, proud of it, and would get angry on behalf of themselves or their :bighanky: friends :crying: which is still like the most virtuous thing eva! :crying:

And as far that false virtue goes, it worked really well----See, one could claim to be bi on paper, still date the opposite sex and not have to date the same sex so there really wasn’t any risk involved. And if anyone dared question it, why, they’d face the wrath of the collegiate Millennial blogosphere or-----their “friends” who care so much.

As far as the trans issue goes today, yes, there’s probably people who claim to be trans who are not, but as Gavin McInnes notes in this paraphrase “I’m really seeing a lack of effort on the part of some to transition if they really believe this applies to them”.

That may also be why people are making up all of these ridiculous pronouns-----because they want all the worldly glory that goes along with being trans, without having surgery.

While it’s good they aren’t wiling to manipulate their bodies that much, it’s worth noting this is just another Western left-wing issue where the preachy loudmouths are unwilling to go the distance but expect to be treated as if they did.
