O pierced Heart!
Sufferer in heaven,
Jesus we love and renown.
Yet we torture you still,
With our children we kill,
Quietly where our friends won’t see.
O Jesus! Forgive us! For we know not what we do!
We may know that we kill,
But yet we forget,
That you are bound to justice too.
O King of all times, kill us not for our crimes.
We offer this prayer to you.
What little it might be,
Let thy mother most sweet,
Apply it as balm to thy heart.
That in thy Power one day,
We hopefully pray,
You may mend what we’ve torn apart!
But before that we pray, that thou stop us today, and save our children from harm.
Amen.
