Remember that in Luke 18, Jesus told the story of the man who considered himself righteous, and urged God to grant his prayers because of the good things he did and the tithes he paid, and the sinner acknowledged his sins and cast himself on God’s mercy saying, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner!”
Jesus continued "I tell you, this man went down to his home justified rather than the other; for all who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted.’
Who of us is without sin and imperfections? We all of us can only approach God humbly, you dear soul no less than any of us. You are child of the Father no less than any of us.
May God grant your prayers, and the graces that you need to continue rising from the ashes of human frailty.
