“O Lord, comfort China and those persecuted for Christ in that great country.Grant them joy in their communion with the Universal Church. Bless them so that the seed they plant during years of suffering, patience and love will be richly harvested.” Grant mercy, O Lord, to those brothers and sisters who chose to be separated from you: may they return to the one fold and One Shepherd. Amen
By Ignatius Cardinal Kung, Bishop of Shanghai, July 1991

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
