What is it with the obsession with aliens that modern society has? I mean, even the vision of the Divine merkavah (chariot) that the prophet Ezekiel sees - the four cherubim, the wheels, and the “One who had the likeness of a man” - is attributed to a UFO visitation.
Personally, I guess that anyone who believes this theory seriously has watched Stargate (especially the film) too many times. 😃

Which brings us to the question. Why would beings from another galaxy go down to Earth and show themselves to humans claiming to be either gods or major religious figures?

(Ironically enough, the TV is showing clips of purported UFO sightings just before I posted this)
I know just what you mean. Why does everything have to be twisted around and made into something about aliens, for crying out loud? It’s ridiculous. We don’t even know if they exist, much less if they’re anything more than little bits of bacteria floating around in space. How would we know?

Or listened too much to Art Bell and George Norry. The latter of which has stated that Jesus is a "half man-half God hybrid and that Jesus proved he wasn’t God when he said “My God. My God. Why have you forsaken me” on the cross.

When Art Bell hosted that show, it was harmless and quaint. On the other hand, Norry is sinister and leads people in the wrong direction.

Aliens have nothing to do with traditional Catholicism. Thanks to all who participated.
