A Question About Sacramentals

I’ve only been confirmed for a few months so I am new to the whole sacramental thing. Is it necessary that they be blessed by a priest before using or wearing?

While priestly blessings for sacramentals are good to have and many Catholics seek them, they are not absolutely necessary. For example, someone who is enrolled in the brown scapular by a priest does not need to seek a priestly blessing for brown scapulars obtained and worn subsequent to the enrollment.
