A question about the afterlife

Will souls (after they’ve gone to Heaven, Purgatory,…or Hell…< just out of curiosity) remember people that they knew while they where still on Earth?
 
It would surprise me if they didn’t. In heaven, they will remember with love. In hell, with hatred. In purgatory, with a desperate longing for help. Just my $.02!
 
Well seeing as we can pray for the Saints in Heaven to intercede for us, it stands to reason that they would have knowledge of who we are and what we need via the Grace of God.
