Now I’m curious, according to Catholics who succeeded Peter? Pope Linus or Clement I? I have heard different things from different sources. Also, who ordained them?
linus then cletus then clement. i believe they were ordained bishops by Peter.

Clement was indeed ordained by Peter. He was the third successor of Peter as Bishop of Rome, after Linus and Anencletus (sometimes called just Cletus).

Irenaeus (died about 202.A.D.) who had studied under Polycarp, who had been a disciple of the Apostle John and is considered one the greatest theologians of the post-Apostolic times named all the Popes succeeding Peter up to his time. The complete list of Popes can be found in any public library.
