It is what we would call “Apocrypha”, not to be confused with deutorocanonical. The Church does not consider it canonical, but this does not mean she has declared you should not read it. I know that there is a least one Ethiopian Orthodox church (if I recall correctly, they consider it canonical) site that hosts it in English, if you want to read it.
