The National Catholic Register is the faithful newspaper
The National Catholic Reporter is the one that is questionable

The Reporter is the one to avoid. I have met the publisher and read the contributers…Trust me…save your time! On the other hand the Register is a very good publication!

The articles in the “National Catholic Reporter” are mostly about dissenting views. I glanced through one once and it didn’t even sound Catholic at all.

Not even sure why they call it the National Catholic Reporter, they are anything but Catholic. They aren’t even nice observers of the Catholic church. Heretics. Joan Chittister sends chills up my spine.
