A Rorate Mass?

There is going to be a Rorate Mass at my church this Saturday morning and having never been to one would anyone have some good information? I searched the internet and CAF and haven’t really found much. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.🙂

What did you want to know about it? The Mass is the Advent Mass for the BVM which was celebrated before dawn (the earliest time allowed by the liturgical legislation then). Nowadays, that particular aspect is not observed but other things (such as illumination by candles) often remain
 
Hi AJV…I guess I am wondering about the candles. Do you have to provide your own candle? Do the parishoners even have candles or just the candles at the altar? Sorry to sound so ignorant of this Mass:blush: which I am sure must be just beautiful. Thanks for answering.
