Someone just asked me if there are any canonized saints who were married but did not have any children. I couldn’t think of any off the top of my head and wondered if anyone reading this knew of any. Thanks.
Off the top of my head a couple people come to mind as *possibly *fitting this catagory: St. Joseph was the foster father of Jesus, but it’s unclear as to if he had any older children of his own or not. (Some say the “brothers” of Jesus might have been older children that St. Joseph had earlier.)
The Bible mentions St. Peter had a mother in law, so he must have been married, but I have never heard any mention of his having children.
