Hi.
I wrote a short poem for the martyrs. Have mercy on me, I originally wrote it in my native language, Finnish and the translation may not be as perfect as it propably could be.
[Original poem written in Finnish.]
Harvat ovat heitä urheampia.
He jotka keisareita uhmasivat,
He jotka Hänen tähden verta vuotivat,
He jotka mielellään hautaan marssivat,
He jotka Jumalan tähden kuolivat,
Huutaen viimeisillä sanoillaan:
“Milloin, oi milloin Hänet viimein nähdä saan?”
[English translation]
Few are braver than them.
Those who defied the emperors,
Those who bled for His sake,
Those who willingly marched to the grave,
Those who died for the sake of God,
Shouting with their last words:
“When, o when may I face Him at last?”
