As I was attending Mass this morning and preparing to receive the Eucharist, I was reflecting on this feast day of the Immaculate Conception of Mary the Mother of God, where by a singular Grace from God, Mary was conceived without sin. Would it be theologically correct to say that in a similar way, the Father, through an act of grace on His part, has made me worthy to receive His Son in the Eucharist since I, but a lowly creature of His, could never be worthy on my own of such a great gift?
