Just when you think you’ve seen everything, there is now a mass based on the music of the rock band U2.

Though primarily being done in Episcopal churches, it is only a matter of time before they are done in Roman Catholic parishes.

You just know it is going to happen.

:rotfl: Ok, as much as I love U2 (best rock band to ever grace the earth), their music does not have any business being in a church service.
I truley don’t think this will leak into the Catholic churches though. I mean, a lot of protostants now support the gay life style and I still don’t see the Catholic Church giving in. We still seem to have more of a back bone.

but … but … but … they’ve got the word ‘Jesus’ in their music (the song ‘One’), not to mention Sunday (‘Sunday Bloody Sunday’) and their version of ‘Gloria’ is pretty cool … surely that’s gotta be good enough 🙂

I could easily imagine “Beautiful Day” being played in one of those services.

But the sacrifice presented at mass is unbloody, so it doesn’t make sense!

I don’t like the name. The word Eucharist has special meaning, and so I don’t like the ‘play’ on the word.
