My BIL, who is a recovering alcoholic, but we feel is a functional one still, has been living with a recovering alcoholic also for many months now. She is about 10 years older than he is. She emailed me when she first started to date him about why his family doesn’t get along with him and I told her the truth. She did not take my advice, but wanted to allow him a chance to prove himself. I warmed her that he may have some mental disorder and has a terrible temper. Well, we cut ourselves off from him about three months ago when he called her and cussed out my husband. My dh was just sick of his brother and didn’t need the stress anymore. He has done this to him all his life. Anyway, on Christmas Day, we arrived home from my MIL’s and on the answering machine have a message from my BIL’s girlfriends in tears begging us to call her and telling us that she wished she would have listened to us. Apparently, he has used her sexually and has used her money and wiped out her savings. Now is is very nasty to her and cussing at her and threatening her. Her daughter is married to a cop and he told her to get a hold of his probation officer and let him know of how he has threatened her. She really fears for her life. He has moved her out in the middle of no where in an old trailer. She is really scared. She is trying to get some of her AA friends to move her stuff and furniture to storage and she will stay with one of them so that when my BIL came back to town, he is a trucker, she would not be there. She has talked to her landlord and told him of her fears in case some thing should happen to her. She is sending us all his emails. He sounds crazy in his emails. It think he is drinking again. He does own a gun, even though he is not suppose to. He is one probation for not paying child support for more than 18 years on his first daughter and he owes on his second daughter too.
Anyway, please pray for this woman. She has regreted not listening to us and being to nice and trusting. Her self esteem is terrible. She thinks she is losing him because she is to fat for he calls her fat. I told her that he has been doing porn since the age of 12 and she never had a chance for his ideas of how women should be and act is unrealistic. He told me that he would send her pictures of naked people with animals on her cell phone and ask if that “turned her on.” She was disgusted by it all. She believed him to be very sick mentally. She realized this too late, but now she fears that he will kill her. Her daughter and son have told her that if he should show up that she needs to call them and the police and they will be there to move her things out. I already told my MIL’s husband who is a cop in that area to listen out for his name in case he hears anything.
Please pray for Sylvia. She said she cries a lot and is living in fear. She is trying to trust in God and has made some mistakes, but is very afraid. I pray her life will not be in danger by my BIL. He is also angry at me, but if he shows up here, I will call the police. He is angry at me for I told him that he is addicted to sex. He broke things off with this woman for he has three other woman he is sleeping with and two of them are married. He is a lost soul and needs prayers also.
