Abbey of Gethsemani, KY

Established in my home county of Nelson in the 1800s, the Abbey is home to the Trappist monks. Their most famous monk is Fr. Louis (Thomas) Merton, OCSO.

The will be having a come-and-see event on Labor Day weekend.
