Those are all good ideas. Unfortunately it tends not to work for me, because I’m both too emotional & too nervous in the confessional to make rational sense of anything in writing. I’m concentrating on how awful I feel about my actions. And speaking of smearing the ink, I sometimes cry, so I would merely obliterate my notes if I relied on those.
Knowing all this, I tend to write little notes down and then memorize them instead. Sometimes that helps the admission flow more, as previously unremembered things also then come to mind when I’m not glued to a piece of paper. But hey, different strokes and all. Whatever works for people.
