Abortion Activists in U.S. Say They Are Losing the Battle
By Gudrun Schultz

January 30, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – After thirty-three years of abortion-on-demand in the US, abortion activists are saying they can feel their grip on the country starting to slide away.

“I think [Roe vs. Wade] in the short term will be dismantled,” said Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, to Reuters. “We have an anti-choice president, an anti-choice Congress and now … with the confirmation of Judge Alito to the Supreme Court, we are seeing the potential for a very right-leaning, anti-choice Supreme Court.”

They love to say that abortion rates are declining but then they turn around and complain that their loosing the abortion battle. This seems to me to be disingenuous - the abortion rates are down because they are loosing the battle!

Gee, that’s a shame:rolleyes: Tables are turning and Pro-choicers are running scared! Think about it they killed off their future little liberals and now their numbers are declining quickly. You Reap What You Sow. Oh well;)

It’s all a PR game. It’s the Liberal way of trying to drum up some fright among their die hard constituants, get more donations coming in so the battle will survive another day. Let’s scare everyone into thinking that the Christians are winning the culture war and we’re all going to slide back into the DEEP DARK AGES, aaaahhhhh!!!

Next thing you know, the Right Wing Conservative Christians are gonna make us all dress like Pilgrims and eat and drink like the Amish (good food, no alcohol). Women will be trapped once again, barefoot and pregnant, cleaning the house and the dishes and all those dirty dirty diapers, and men will rule the world once again.

And chu-ching! $$$$$$$ It all comes rolling into their coffers! Once you catch on, it’s really rather amusing watching it all, day in and day out. And the poor souls fall for it every time! 🙂

Well it just gets me more motivated! Tell’em to keep it up!

I think the tide really began to turn with the debate over partial birth abortion. None of the pro-death people could gloss that over or make it palatable to the American people. It gave a lot of people the impetus to look into what PP and NARAL, et al, have really been promoting all these years instead of just swallowing whole and unquestioned their propaganda. Thank God!

The battle has yet to begin. I object to Roe v Wade because the SC overstepped its authority. It is policy best left to individual state legislatures.

If the SC overturns RvW, then the real strugggle will commence. I don’t think either side knows what will happen on a state by state basis. And state by state is all that matters at that point.
