I believe I read or heard somewhere was that abortion proponents claimed that abortion would reduce the incidence of child abuse (i.e. there would be fewer unwanted babies). I wonder what the statistics of child abuse since Roe v. Wade was passed are: Has child abuse decreased, or has it increased? Anyone here know?

It appears that the claims of abortionists that abortion would reduce child abuse are completely off. After all, if a culture has no respect for a child in the womb, why would it have any more respect for a child after it is born?

Abortion is the ultimate child abuse. I personally wouldn’t believe anything that the pro-abortion side says.

I dont know the exact stats but in a recent study the Elliott Institute found that abortion and child abuse are linked.
