Abortion as a Satanic Trap

The assumption is that the devil wishes to do more than kill the body. Satan separates a person from God’s grace and truth, and leads those who follow his ways to eternal destruction. The babies who lose their earthly lives, since we believe they are truly and fully human, their spiritual lives are secure in the mercy and grace of God. Because if they have a spiritual life, and had no opportunity for earthly life beyond the age of innocence, then in the interest of justice it can be deduced that God will care for them somehow.

So we must deduce that for Satan, this is a “war on women” primarily. The choice has been made a woman’s and therefore the responsibility belongs to the woman as well. It is a divide and conquer method. Women have been isolated. No woman in the U.S. can escape the fact that the choice is theirs and theirs alone. No overbearing man or woman has the legal power to force a woman to have an abortion. Of course, for the young woman, an overbearing parent or spouse can have a great influence so that is a mitigating factor. But the knowledge of the land as well as the law of the land is that it is solely the mother’s choice.

If a human being believes that the baby is a human being and performs an abortion then that person has committed murder knowingly. With their eyes open they can kill children.

If a human being believes that the baby is not a human being and performs an abortion then they commit murder unknowingly. The person is a tool of Satan.

How can either of these two groups avoid the destruction in their souls. One has the truth already but doesn’t care. The other group will receive the truth at the coming of the Lord. How can they not be greatly diminished when they receive it?

It’s a trap designed for women primarily. But to see them diminished by the truth is sorrow for all.

I agree with your analysis, James, but Catholics who’ve been seduced by this mustn’t lose hope though, because sincere and heartfelt confession can right even this wrong. Remember, a tremendous number of young people have been led down this path, both Christian and atheist alike. Young people are so very vulnerable to the world’s influences. Judging others and judging ourselves can be a trap, as well. A depressing, paralyzing trap, that many people fall into without even being fully conscious of what they’ve done, or what has happened. It’s just a terribly tragic aspect of the modern world. Rape, sexual assault and abuse, abortion, these are things that befall people in only a half-awake sort of way. PTSD and post-abortion syndrome can permanently demoralize and destroy people; people who are good and don’t deserve it. Even talking about these kinds of things can, and often do, lead to all sorts of bad feelings and misunderstandings. But yes, you’re right, it’s a trap I would characterize as Satanic, too.

Often I have heard pro-abortion people assert that abortion is good for babies because we want people to go to heaven so if they are killed by abortion they will go to heaven. If judging by such a standard then one must also consider that abortion is among the most grave mortal sins one can participate in and thus the mother and others culpable place themselves in a state opposed heaven. So much for doing what is best for a mother if we’re speaking about eternal salvation.

I agree that abortion is a snare of the evil one and one that does not simply ensnare the mother who consents but ALL who are involved. Other subjects to consider: abortionist, abortionist staff, abortion facility escorts, people who influenced action (family, friends, medical personnel, etc.), politicians who support abortion… and the list goes on and on. This is for ONE abortion, one among millions that occur every year.

I have heard that the souls aborted babies are with Mary in heaven, I have also heard that Mary sees souls falling into hell like snowflakes from a blizzard. Please pray for an end to this evil scourge
