I’m looking for good analogy to reply to person saying that ‘planned parenthood helped someone to avoid abortion’. I don’t want to offend her and prefer to reply with charity. So far the only analogy I can think about is comparing it to someone saying that 'surviving concentration camp made me live my life better ’ Looking for better answer

try this:

"Why does a person have to go to planned parenthood instead of to their OB/GYN? Wouldn’t it be better to receive a prescription for birth control from a person who knows your personal history?

If the government stops funding planned parenthood, then that money could be reallocated to make sure all women have easy access to OB/GYN doctors and services."
