Abortion, genocide go to school

A graphic pro-life display at a Catholic highschool draws the ire of radical pro-abortionist university professors.

But one local history professor was even more upset by a statement from organizers that their display “draws direct parallels” between abortion and genocides – including the Holocaust.
“Everyone is entitled to their opinion, (but) if you’re going to draw analogies, one would like to ensure the analogies are sound ones,” said Monda Halpern, who teaches both Jewish and women’s history at the University of Western Ontario.
“The analogy is faulty on so many levels **I don’t even know where to begin.” **Halpern added. “It distorts the implications of abortion and it also distorts the history of the Holocaust” that saw six million Jewish people killed.

Note this is the university which awarded an honorary doctorate’s degree to the very man responsible for bringing abortion on demand to Canada, for any reason, at any stage of development. Dr. Henry Morgentaler, an abortionist, is the hero of radical feminists. The Morgentaler decision of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1988 is the equivalent of Roe vs. Wade in U.S.

More on this story at LifeSiteNews. After all the rhetoric about free speech rights and the role of education to examine all points of view it is quite an irony to hear these same university professors saying this has no place in a highschool.

D’Souza,(spokesman for University of Toronto Students for Life) however, said that the students responded to the displays with calm and asked intelligent questions. “They knew right away. They said the pictures are true, and because they’re true, they should be shown.”
The display was the highlight of a “pro-life events” week at the school and D’Souza commended the careful year long preparation the school gave students, bringing in pro-life speakers …

It is interesting to note even the teachers were unaware that abortion in Canada is unlimited, without restrictions. :whacky:

What better analogy can there be than the Nazi Holocaust and the Abortion Holocaust.

The only problem with the analogy is that it underestimates the effects of abortion and over estimates those of the holocaust. The holacaust killed 6 million jews. Abortion has killed 40 million in the US alone and nearly a billion worldwide.
