Finally some good news:
Abortion Parental Consent Law Ruled Constitutional and Enforceable

COLUMBUS, Ohio, September 9, 2005, (LifeSiteNews.com) – After seven years of litigation initiated by the American Civil Liberties Union the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati has upheld an Ohio law (H.B. 421) that requires girls under the age of 18 to get parental consent for an abortion.

Another requirement is that a meeting with a doctor 24 hours prior to the procedure must take place so that a woman can get a description of the procedure and be made aware of the risks and alternatives.

As in other states an exception is made which allows a minor to seek a judge’s permission to bypass the parental consent requirement. At this time it is unclear as to whether the ACLU will appeal the ruling.

Yet, if a school nurse were to give an aspirin without parental permission, the doo-doo would hit the fan! How come Planned Barrenhood can do an invasive procedure which has the strong potential for serious harm, even death, without parental permission?

(Don’t answer that, I already know the answer)
