The photos are not that bad if you compare them to war photos and unsensored pictures from the sept 11 fallout. I guess if the only picutres of dead people you ever see are those of aborted fetus, I bet that could be disturbing.

My friend had a miscarriage and the natural death resulted in the same procedure as is typically done with an abortion. If the doctors had not gone in to remove it, it probably would have killed her because it already started to rot. It is still as gross looking, but what is gross?

When I miscarried at 14 weeks, I had a doc tell me “Oh the procedure is just like an abortion, so think of it like that.” Floored the daylights out of me.

Anyway… the pictures may be gruesome but it is the truth. The adage of “a picture can speak a thousand words.” is necessary in this case as the pro-aborts have tried many times to say “it” is just a blob of cells.

In some cases, the pictures are enough to send people into a desire to want to help end abortions. 👍

9/11 and war pictures are gruesome as well… granted, but to compare them to aborted pictures does not belittle in any way the horror of aborted fetus’ pictures.

murder is murder… plain and simple. If pro-death people cannot stare at the face of their creation (dead babies by the bundle) without admitting a twinge of guilt, then they must admit somehting is wrong with their thinking.

I they honestly do not feel any guilt, then all we can do is pray for their souls.

What’s gross? Pictures of babies murdered at their own parents hands. Yup, pretty bad. Like the other poster said…killing is killing.

Miscarriage is not anyone’s fault. It may be disturbing and sad to look at, but it’s not murder. When you look at pictures of aborted babies and know that it didn’t have to be that way, that they were killed before their time…that lends a whole different factor to the situation. Alot of anger and disgust.

Children are supposed to feel the safest in their mother’s womb, and later when they’er born, in their mother’s arms. How sad that the safest place on earth, the womb, has become more dangerous than any battlefield 😦

Well said… 😦

For me the photos are a way for those who want to believe the fetus isn’t human to see the truth. I think with the advancements in science and dna that argument will fall away soon, but we need to always be ready for the next justification the pro-choice crowd will come up with.

I recently did a paper on Abortion for my Social Justice class. I learned that abortions occur more in the ages of 18 to 30. If you take on the act of intimacy, you are putting the responsibility of a child on your shoulders. When you have an abortion, it could be killing the next JFK or JP2! But, we cannot judge those who have an abortion…

Not in this day of age. I think it was about roughly 95% of pictures you see now have been edited in some way, whether small or large. I don’t really believe most of the pictures I see from the internet or magazines.

I understand that pictures can be edited but hopefuly, if you’ve viewed the abortion picures at www.priestsforlife.com you know that they aren’t fabricated or edited. Of all the pictures I’ve seen (Pictures of abortion- as to what this thread addresses) have not been fabricated and are actually detailed as to who performed the autopsy, who took the picture, there is a picture stamp to show it hasn’t been edited.

fake or real, pictures still speak a thousand words… talk to the Iraqi’s that wouldn’t believe Uday and his brother were killed until they saw pictures.

JFK was not a good president. He made us Catholics look *really * bad. I’m not saying it would have been better for him to have been aborted, I’m just saying he was certainly no hero.

I looked at a few of those pictures despite my ways of not wanting to look at anything grusome. Pretty gross man. But just because it is not pleasant to sight has never changed my thoughts of anything. Maybe a few people people could be persuaded by it, but it doesn’t do anything for me.

It’s true that something could be gross without being evil; an autopsy, for instance, or surgery. I suppose it can be good not to be too squeamish or be scared off by something merely appearing gross. It’s the meaning that matters; what has happened and why. Can you justify that? Do you look at the picture and say “oh well, it’s not a real person anyway” or do you look at it and say “this was deliberately done to this child for someone’s convenience”?
Because it’s possible to convince yourself that nothing is wrong. How do you think the SS did their jobs at auschwitz?
