ABORTION SURVIVOR BARRED FROM SCHOOL

http://www.lifenews.com/jessen2.jpg**Dublin, Ireland (LifeNews.com) – **A woman who survived a saline abortion 28 years ago has been prevented by the largest university in Ireland from speaking there. Though her speaking engagement has been planned in advance, she will not be speaking at University College Dublin (UCD).

Jessen survived a saline abortion when she was 7 months in utero. Despite her cerebral palsy, which she has described as a gift and is a legacy of the abortion, Gianna has traveled the world with her powerful testimony.

I was just reading this article. This is typical of the Moral Relativists. Speech is free, only when it is their speech. All other speech is to be suppressed in the spirit of tolerance.

Of course she was barred. Her speaking out isn’t good for abortionist profits, who “donate” money to universities to slant thier teaching on abortion. Many schools allow Planned Parenthood to teach sex-ed classes, in which they promote promiscuity (sp?).

Abortion is illegal in Ireland.

Well technically abortion is legal in Ireland, as in, legislation has not been passed banning it. But, because there is no legislation, no doctor will risk performing an abortion. A judgement in one of the last court cases allowed for abortion only if the life of the mother is in danger, whether such risk was from medical causes or through threat of suicide. But since the possibility of abortion appeared only through a court ruling and not legislation I don’t think any medic is going to seriously test it at the moment.
The last referendum on abortion now allows the right to travel to another jurisdiction for an abortion and the right to information. It emerged that not one member of the Irish Parliament voted against abortion, some voted for some abstained. Whereas the majority population who elected them rejected proposed legislation introducing abortion.

What is a Moral Relativist?
Moral relativism is the position that moral or ethical propositions do not reflect objective and/or universal moral truths, but instead make claims relative to social issues. Moral relativism is in direct opposition to Catholic morality.

Moral relativism is the biggest threat for the world today.

I just hope the Christian message can defeat it.

I saw her about 17 years ago at the church I then attended. She’s quite remarkable. Theres an interview of her on You Tube.

Abortion is illegal in Ireland.
Thank God for that!

Over 50,000,000 children have been murdered in the U.S. through abortion since it became legal on January 22, 1973. America has become a nation of cold hearted savages!

I was born September 20, 1982 - so it would’ve been perfectly legal for my mother to have killed me before I was born.

It’s REALLY troubling to think what could’ve happened if she hadn’t wanted me.

With all of the medical advancments we have made, it’s possible in most cases to preserve both the lives of the mother and child. But killing babies is too profitable for anyone to stop it in the near future.

Does Ms. Jessen have a first name? The article doesn’t list one for her.

How disgusting that the school doesn’t want her to speak! Sounds like they are afraid of the truth to me!

What is a Moral Relativist?
A good example of moral relativism is the proposition that if the populace of a given society accepts abortion to be just or that society derives benefit from it, then it is deemed a moral good. Something is only right or wrong relative to something else. It is the opposite of absolute truth which doesn’t change.
