You’re right about that. I figure there are likely confused lurkers who rarely comment and might benefit if the discussions here lead to the concepts being clear as mud.
 
We are obligated to care for the least of these.

Respect for life is integral to our treatment of others.
Abortion and assisted suicide are absolute evils.

But the list of the least of these doesn’t stop at those
at risk of abortion and euthanasia.

We must care for the hungry, the thirsty, the naked,
the stranger, the sick, and the prisoner. Our salvation
depends on it.

Our Lord says in Matthew 25:

45 He will answer them, ‘Amen, I say to you, what
you did not do for one of these least ones, you did
not do for me.’

46 And these will go off to eternal punishment, but
the righteous to eternal life.”
