HARRISBURG, PA, August 11, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The number of abortions performed in Pennsylvania decreased by 2.4% in 2004. According to data recently made available by the state Department of Health, there were 36,030 abortions in 2004, compared to 36,908 in 2003.

Although it is 36,060 too many, at least it is going in the right direction.

There seems to be a general shift away from support for abortion. It’s not a big shift yet but I pray we keep going in this direction

While making abortion illegal is a good first step, changing hearts and minds should ultimately be the goal.
