Does this still count? You’re not actually there with the Blessed Sacrament, but watching and spiritually being there through the eyes of a Live Camera. Does this still count in Adoring Christ in the Blessed Sacrament?

It doesn’t “count” for getting the indulgence for Adoration. In other words you can get an indulgence for going in person to Adoration, but not for watching it on TV or live stream.

It can certainly count as a sincere Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, in other words a sincere prayer, if there is no other way for you to get there in person, like if there’s no actual Adoration taking place near you, or you’re sick or homebound, or have no transportation, or it’s 3 am and all the Adoration chapels near you are closed.

It’s similar to watching live Mass on TV - a TV Mass is not going to fulfill your Sunday obligation, but it can certainly be a form of prayer if you follow along devoutly.

Also, it’s kinda nice that it’s a “thing”—that somebody has gone to the trouble of setting up a camera, and those of us who can’t make it to a chapel in person can log on, pray, and remember what it’s all about.
