As you can see, I am new here and I have looked for something on this subject but couldn’t find it. Please forgive me if I am wrong or didn’t look in the right place.
My question:
Pilate condemned Jesus to death, but he was afraid of what was going to happen if he let Jesus go free. Did Pilate commit a sin? Or was he just fulfilling the prophesy? From what I gather, when I read the Scriptures, is that Pilate did what he had to do. Do you think that he later repented? Did he ask forgiveness for what he had done?
I hope that my question makes sense.
Thank you.
