According to what I got from the internet that Pope John Paul I presumably died from a heart attack. But, how his body was found is more confusing there are sources that say his corpse was found by a nun. Yet, other sources say he was not. Who and what was the one who found his body? I became curious when I found an article like this.

What this article says that a nephew of a mobster named Anthony Raimondi along with a partner helps kill Pope John Paul I by having cyanide added in his tea. I don’t think he is telling the truth because of this website.

Pope John Paul I, should have shown the symptoms and the symptoms could have been reported. What do you guys think?

Sounds just like someone trying to sell a book, and hoping it’s made into a movie so he can get rich.

Exactly. So much has been written about the death of John Paul I, over the years, that I think we would have heard something about this before now.

There is this question lingering in my mind and that is who are the people who found his body? I really want to find something that sheds light on that. An article or any evidence is good.

I read something about it years ago. I’ll see what I can find and I’ll get back to you tomorrow.

While there have always been suspicions surrounding JP1’s death, my guess is we shall never really know the truth. Mobsters can say anything, and I can’t imagine Cardinals being involved in a scam, although it’s possible. They’re sinners, too.

One thing I always hear about cyanide is that some people can smell it, and it smells like “bitter almonds”. I have no idea what bitter almonds smell like, or even what bitter almonds are. The nuts I eat called almonds certainly aren’t bitter, and they don’t have any smell that I can detect. Is there something beside the typical almond nuts that are called bitter almonds?

If the symptoms of cyanide poisoning are hard to detect, then it may very well be that nobody noticed any symptoms in JP1. If he was force fed while sleeping, and fell into a deep sleep due to Valium in his tea, then I doubt he would have displayed any symptoms, at all. Maybe his skin would have colored, but maybe not.

I think I may have made a mistake on Cyanide poisoning, and forgot that the poison was Valium. Although, I still think he may not be telling the truth as according to him the papal assistant found him, but other sources says his body was found by a nun named Vincenza Taffarel.
