Forgive the delay, but I just signed up. Has been mentioned the Community of St. John founded by the mystic Adrienne von Speyr and the theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar in the topic “Founding a Secular Institute?” in Jun '14. In it were the accounts of Brasilians, Cloisters and Hope19. I am interested in this reality but it seems very complex to find contacts with them. I wish I could have contacts or a community site, would that be possible? Thank you

Aside from the Community of St John founded by Fr. Phillipe, http://csjohn.org There is also a secular institute, of the same name, founded by Hans Urs von Balthazar and Adrienne von Speyr: My organization also proposes a New Movement, the Consecrates of St John the Beloved, who will be consecrated virgin males. There will be core Consecrates who will make consecration their way of life; priest-consecrates (similar to a third order); and Consecrates who end up going into the Religious Life.…

Just a bit of an update from that posted in 2017. That particular proposal for the consecrated male virgins has been brought under our new congregation. Now renamed the St. John Ministry, the members will work towards an increase in virginity/purity among males of today’s world. Perhaps members will eventually branch off and form the secular institute we propose. Only God knows.
