Hello everyone, and may the peace of Christ be with you all!

Does anyone know of a reliable source that could give me a good set of statics depicting how Catholics behaved in 2012? I’m speaking about such things as percentages of Mass attendance, priests/permanent deacons ordained, men entering seminary, women who became Nuns, children baptized, divorce rates…you know, that sort of thing. I would also like to have some accurate information on the number of self proclaimed Catholics who are pro-choice, pro-homosexual marriage, pro-contraception, or any other current event that is directly opposed to Church teachings. Maybe even if someone knew the accurate percentages of how Catholics voted in the presidential election too, that would be awesome!

I’m planning on comparing the most recent information I can find to years past and get some sort of idea where the Church is headed. Then I plan on presenting the information to my Confirmation students to encourage them to either keep up the good work with the rest of the Church (which I’m hoping is what I’ll get to say) or that a return toward the teachings of Christ and His Church begins with their generation.

I think the statistics will be a great teaching tool no matter which way they go. Thanks for any and all help in advance!
