Will God hold it against me if I act against my scruples – thinking that the action I’m in doubt of is likely permitted – but when I die I find out I was wrong and the action is a sin? This is assuming that I die before getting a regular Confessor

My reason being is that Fr Santa in the 9th Commandment for the Scrupulous says “When you are doubtful, your shall assume that the act of commission or omission you’re in doubt about is not sinful and you shall proceed without dread of sin”

Ask a priest and get a regular Confessor to deal with your scruples.
I believe you’ve been advised to do this continuously for 2 months now.

Do you receive the monthly “Scrupulous Anonymous”?

Not everything is a sin.

Maybe stupid … but not a sin.

And you can learn how to avoid stupid stuff, as “counter-productive”.

ZynXensar - sounds like a medicine for scruples !

I do hope you make some sort of headway with this unique problem of yours.
