I’m playing the clown in a production of Shakespeare’s twelfth night. During part of the play, the clown dresses up as a priest and pretends to exorcise one of the characters as a joke. I’m a little uncomfortable with pretending to be a priest, being female, and also not being a priest. Would it be sinful to fill this role?

It would absolutely not be a sin.

It’s a play, and Shakespeare on top of that. Hard to go wrong with the Bard of Avon.
