Those of us now in our 40s who saw and loved the movie OLIVER will surely remember the lovable little pickpocket “The Artful Dodger,” played by a young Jack Wild, who also starred in Saturday morning TV’s “H.R. PUFNSTUFF” show from 1970 to 1974. Jack Wild was one of the best child actors of all time, and according to those who knew or met him, also a very kind man.
Jack Wild passed away Wednesday night at age 53, from cancer. He leaves behind a wife and children. May he rest in peace.

I seen a documentry a few weeks back about the cast of Oliver and it turn out that most of them ended up as alcoholics / substance abusers.

‘Oliver’ is still repeated a LOT on British TV…sad to think so many of them ended badly 😦

I remember H.R. Puffinstuff on Saturday mornings. Back then, it was pretty inovative Saturday Morning tv, today, it looks so cheesy!
