I certainly can’t see why the church would take issue with it, there’s nothing spiritual or morality based about it. The procedure is equivalent to having your teeth cleaned by a dentist, and I’m pretty sure we don’t have rules against that.
for those who don’t know, Acupuncture uses thin needles to stimulate certain areas of the nervous system which are located near the surface of the skin. Sometimes heat is applied to the needles to gently warm them. There is nothing mystical about the practice.
