I don’t know if this has been mentioned in the Family Forums yet, but there is a site where you can go and be assigned a Cardinal for whom you should pray. I think it is pretty neat. I let my older kids (5,6,7) each sign up with me (they were excited about it) and so they are each praying for the Cardinal that was assigned to them. I think it is a pretty neat way to get the family involved in praying for our Cardinals in this important process.

I later read that it was talked about at one of the first meetings with all the Cardinals.

Why doesn’t this site give out more information about itself? (Where it is based, who is responsible for it, etc.)

Also, why does it insist on having your name? The email should suffice.

I can’t answer the second question, but the site is run by “JUGEND 2000” (Youth 2000). Their website is linked at the bottom of the Adopt-a-Cardinal page:

The English versions are here:

I got Cardinal George!!! So excited!
Cool! We got Cardinals from Sudan, Brazil, Portugal, and Switzerland! 🙂

Opus, if you guys don’t feel comfortable putting your name and email, you can always use a junk email and a nickname or pseudonym. From what I see, they use your name to have a title at the top of the page “[NAME], you have adopted a Cardinal!” and you can print it off there if you want. They also send you the info to the email you provide as well.
