Make sure you read Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us before you do anything. It is really important to stop and think about this before you do anything. I would usually be the person that would say “Don’t just stand there , DO something!” But in the case of Adult Faith Formation I really do suggest that you “Stop and just stand there, Don’t just do anything!” Analyze Who, How, What and When, very carefully.
It is also very important that you first form an Adult Faith Formation committee. Don’t try and do this as a one man operation. Asking here is a good idea, getting feedback on you proposed program. However it is more important to ask 10 people from a cross section of you specific parish what they think. It may be the best program. But if you do not convince your parish as a whole, the best program will fail.
