Eucharistic Prayer III mentions: “Lord, may this sacrifice, which has made our peace with you, advance the peace and salvation of all the world.” How is the peace and salvation advanced?
Remember the Eucharist is a sacrifice which participates in the actual sacrifice at Calvary. Therefore, we actually participate in the work of Christ crucified, And we also participate in the the salvation of the world when we carry the Eucharistic Christ in our lives and Evangelize the world around us. This is my understanding. I hope Im not too far off.
