Does anyone have a good Advent resource for daily/weekly advent readings? Looking for something with meat. Have 6 kids still at home ages range from 4-19.

Depends on how much “meat” you want. The pamphlet “The Word Among Us” is pretty good for a family with kids of varying ages. It’s a little light on the meat for adults though.

If you want prayers and readings that are full of meat, pick up the Advent/Christmas volume of the Liturgy of the Hours. The Office readings in addition to the daily readings, including readings from the Church Fathers.

look up advent on the web helen mcloughlin has a very nice pamphlet the graillville singers have lovely advent songs. i love advent and the celebration of advent (penitential) makes the feasting of Christmas so good and our love for Jesus so special

Not sure about anything with meat, but there are a lot of advent calendars with chocolate! 😃 J/K
