I noticed when I drove past it today that the Seventh Day Adventist church haschanged their sign to say “Topeka Adventist Christian Church”. Have these folks officially changed their name? I don’t know much about them, but have heard that they are anti-Catholic.

Is this an attempt to go more “mainstream”, like when the RLDS changed to Community of Christ?

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church has not changed it’s name… however, this particular congregation may have? The Topeka SDA Church is still listed in the SDA Yearbook, and their webpage is here.

Finally… you are correct, SDA’s are generally anti-Catholic in their belief system.
